This is a courtesy translation of the general terms and conditions of P.M. de Vries (KvK 64708101), who runs Maandsite and also trades as Vondel Media. The Dutch version prevails. Read the Dutch version.
Last updated: 16 October 2026. Maandsite is a service of P.M. de Vries, who also trades as Vondel Media, Egelantiersgracht 424, 1015 RR Amsterdam, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 64708101, VAT (btw) NL002250100B57 ("we").
The agreement starts when you approve a quotation by email, or when you press Start on one of our pages and complete the first payment. A quotation is valid for 30 days. A personal offer (on a page or in a quotation) takes precedence over these terms and over the prices on the site.
All prices are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise. We may adjust prices at most once a year and will announce this 30 days in advance. If the price rises during a fixed term, you may cancel as of the date of the increase.
The Basis (€59), Groei (€149) and Pro (€299) subscriptions apply per month. What is included is listed on our subscriptions page. A subscription can be cancelled any month, with one month's notice, and you pay monthly in advance. A new site is included at no extra cost: up to 5 pages with Basic, 25 with Growth, 100 with Pro. You cancel by email. We confirm within 2 working days. A personal arrangement on your own personal start page (for example a different term or a starting price) takes precedence over these rules. Every subscription continues until you cancel; it never stops by itself. For an organisation we make a tailored proposal, and that proposal takes precedence.
Not happy, money back. If you are not happy after the first month, we refund the amount of that first month and your subscription stops at once, without notice period. Ask for this within 7 days after the end of the first month, by WhatsApp or by email. We refund within 14 days, the same way you paid. This applies only to the first month, and only to a business's first subscription. If you keep the domain name we registered for you, we deduct the cost of that domain.
You pay subscriptions monthly in advance, automatically via Stripe (card or SEPA). Other invoices are payable within 14 days. If a payment fails, we send a reminder. If an amount is still unpaid after 30 days, we may pause the site until payment is received. For businesses, statutory commercial interest applies to late payment.
The delivery time counts from the intake and from the moment we have the texts, photos and access we need. If that comes later, the delivery time moves with it. With Basic your site goes live within 14 days, counted from the moment we have your texts and photos; time the site spends waiting for your approval does not count. Nothing goes live before you have approved it. If you find an error in what we made within 14 days after going live, we fix it free of charge; after that, fixes fall under your subscription.
You supply texts, photos and logos yourself, and you guarantee that you may use them. Your domain, texts, photos and colours remain yours, even if you stop. The domain is registered in your name. The technology we build with (the code, components and hosting settings of your site) remains ours. You may use it for as long as your subscription runs. Only with an Organisatie subscription can we agree otherwise in writing. General code and methods that we also use for others, we keep using.
We may show your site on maandsite.nl as an example of our work: screenshots, what we built and a link to your site. Your texts, photos and logo stay yours, and we only show photos in which people can be recognised with their consent (portrait rights).
Within 14 days after the last day of your subscription you receive an export of your texts and photos and the transfer code for your domain. On the last day of the subscription the site goes offline, unless we agree otherwise.
We provide hosting and keep every version of your site, so we can always return to an earlier version. We do our best to keep your site available at all times, but we cannot guarantee 100%. For services of other parties (such as payment providers, email or domain registration) their terms also apply.
You will not publish anything that is contrary to the law or to the rights of others. If that happens, we may take that content offline. We always tell you first, except in urgent cases.
Forms and measurements on your site may collect personal data. We process that only for you and on your instructions, keep it secure, engage only processors that also comply (such as our hosting), report a data breach within 48 hours, and delete or return the data when you stop. This serves as the data processing agreement that the GDPR requires. You are responsible for the privacy statement on your site; we help you draft it.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
If you are a consumer, you always keep the rights the law gives you. Among other things, this means: a 14-day cooling-off period after the start, and after the first period you can always cancel monthly.
If these terms change, we notify you by email 30 days in advance. A change that only gives you an extra right, such as the money-back rule in article 3, applies at once and needs no advance notice. These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the court in Amsterdam, unless the law gives a consumer another court.
